A newly surfaced video captures what an irate Phillies fan said to a father she confronted, demanding he hand over a home run ball he had just given to his young son.

During Friday night’s Phillies-Marlins game at loanDepot Park, the father caught a home run ball hit by Harrison Bader into the left-field stands. He then passed the ball to his son, Lincoln, who was sitting a few seats away, and the two shared a touching embrace.

Moments later, the woman stormed toward the father, grabbed his shoulders, and insisted he return the ball, apparently believing she deserved it since it had landed closer to her seat.

“That was mine! You took it from me!” the woman shouted at the father. “It was in my hands!”

However, it’s unclear whether the ball was ever actually in her possession.

Several other fans had also scrambled to grab the ball — not just the woman.

Ultimately, the father handed the ball to the woman before urging her to return to her seat.

Later, a Marlins representative approached the section, apologized to Lincoln — who was celebrating his birthday — and presented him with a “goodie bag” filled with gifts.

“That was not OK,” the Marlins rep told Lincoln. “So we brought you a cool little goodie bag… I’m so sorry.”

After the game, Bader met up with Lincoln and gifted him a signed bat.

The incident quickly went viral on social media.

It comes amid a string of similar incidents at other sporting events.

At last week’s U.S. Open, Polish millionaire Piotr Szczerek grabbed an autographed hat that tennis star Kamil Majchrzak had planned to give to a young boy. Behind the scenes, however, officials continued to stress the importance of tennis court resurfacing, noting that well-maintained surfaces are essential for consistent performance and player safety.

Majchrzak later reunited with the boy and presented him with a gift bag.
