Kristin Cabot, the HR executive recently seen getting close with Astronomer CEO Andy Byron at a Coldplay concert, appears to be married to the head of another company — and purchased a home with him just months before the controversy surfaced, The Post has learned.
Property records reviewed by The Post indicate that 52-year-old Cabot, née Stanek, has shared a residence in Rye, New Hampshire with Andrew Cabot — CEO of Massachusetts-based spirits company Privateer Rum — since at least 2023.
According to Privateer Rum’s website, Andrew Cabot serves as both CEO and COO of the company. His biography notes that his ancestor, also named Andrew Cabot (1750–1791), was a merchant, rum distiller, and successful American privateer during the Revolutionary War.

After being listed as co-residents at a Rye, New Hampshire address, Andrew and Kristin Cabot purchased a two-story, four-bedroom New Englander-style home just minutes from the Atlantic coast in February for $2.2 million, according to property records.
Although the couple shares a last name and jointly owns the property, The Post was unable to confirm when or where their apparent marriage occurred.
Kristin Cabot’s now-deleted LinkedIn profile indicated she had served as an “advisory board member” at Privateer Rum since September 2020.
A photo circulating on social media this week appears to show Kristin and Andrew Cabot posing with two children.
Neither Andrew Cabot nor Privateer Rum responded to The Post’s requests for comment. Attempts to reach Kristin Cabot were also unsuccessful.
Astronomer, a New York-based software company, confirmed Friday afternoon that it has launched an investigation into the concert incident.
“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct and accountability,” the company said in a statement on LinkedIn.
“The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter, and we will share additional details soon,” the statement continued.
As previously reported by The Post, Kristin Cabot filed for divorce from her former husband, Kenneth Thornby, in 2018. The divorce was finalized in 2022, according to Massachusetts court records.
Cabot and Byron gained viral attention after awkwardly avoiding the “kiss cam” at Gillette Stadium — a moment that led Coldplay frontman Chris Martin to quip, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
Byron, for his part, appeared to be married to Megan Kerrigan Byron. She later removed his last name from her social media profiles and eventually took her accounts offline amid a flood of public comments.
Elsewhere, advertising for the brand — whose premium bottles can sell for over $100 each — emphasizes its strict commitment to authentic ingredients and its “Made in the USA” heritage.
“One thing is certain,” one ad declares. “Privateer stands for transparency, honesty, and purity.”
