Brad Pitt is hoping to mend his relationship with his twins.
According to a new report, the “F1” star is said to be “desperate” for “one last chance to reunite” with Knox and Vivienne and “make amends.”
A source told the Daily Mail on Friday that the 61-year-old Oscar winner “realizes the chances are slim” that the 16-year-olds will want to see him before their birthday on Saturday.
Brad Pitt is reportedly eager to repair his relationship with Knox and Vivienne.
The Daily Mail reported that the actor hopes to “make amends” with his 16-year-old twins.
A source shared that the “devastated” actor “got the message loud and clear” when his youngest daughter with ex-wife Angelina Jolie removed “Pitt” from her last name in a 2024 Playbill.
However, the fact that her twin brother has continued using “Jolie-Pitt” has reportedly offered the Emmy winner a “glimmer of hope.”
A source close to the situation tells us that while Pitt refrains from speaking publicly about his children out of respect for their privacy, it’s clear that — like any parent — he deeply values his relationship with them.
The Daily Mail also reported Thursday that the “family man” still considers the twins, along with their siblings — Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, and Shiloh, 19 — to be “very important to his life,” and that he hopes to have them “all back in the fold.”
A second source said, “He will always believe and always hope there’s a chance to reunite with all of them, and he doesn’t want to think otherwise. He’s not the kind of guy to give up. He’s a proud father and would be happy if they could eventually see that.”
However, Pitt reportedly wants his children to “make the move,” since he has “tried over and over again to get back in their good graces.”
As for his relationship with Jolie, 50, sources say Pitt has accepted that they will likely always remain “at odds.”

Pitt’s greatest “regret” from his “toxic” relationship with Jolie is reportedly his inability to “repair” the bonds with their six children.
The Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-stars ended their 12-year relationship in 2016 and finalized their divorce last year.
Since then, their children have publicly distanced themselves from the Golden Globe winner. Notably, Shiloh now goes by “Shi Jolie” after legally dropping the Pitt surname, and Zahara also dropped Pitt’s name during a 2023 sorority induction ceremony.

Since then, Pitt’s relationships with their children have been described as “strained.”
Maddox, for his part, gave a cryptic response in 2019 when asked about their relationship, saying, “whatever happens, happens.”
