Numerous young adults, tightly packed into the tiers, visibly recoiled in horror at the seemingly gruesome surgery.

The University's video was soon flooded with hundreds of mixed comments about the students' reactions

The University’s video quickly garnered hundreds of diverse comments regarding the students’ reactions.

Some were captivated by the composed demeanor of certain students, praising them as ideal candidates for medical school.

One commenter remarked, “The girl unfazed and drinking her water is our next surgeon, ya’ll.”

Another added, “The ones smiling and open-mouthed without blinking in fascination are going to make it and become possible surgeons.”

Elsewhere, followers shared their own personal anecdotes from their medical training experiences.

One person shared, “When I saw my first live C-section in Nursing School, I almost passed out, so yeah, I get it.”

Another admitted, “I saw a surgery as a pre-med student… Biggest mistake of my life… Because I didn’t know anything about the healthcare field… Now I can’t handle surgery because of that, and I’ll have to choose medicine only as my masters.”

Others were transfixed by the calm reactions of some students - praising them as being the perfect candidates for med school

Some observers were captivated by the composed demeanor of certain students, commending them as ideal candidates for medical school.

Reflecting on their own experiences, one individual shared, “And this is why I went to art school. Not med school. In my high school health class we got shown a video of a guy getting surgery on his brain after a car crash so that we wouldn’t drink and drive. It made a gross squishing noise when the doctor poked at it with a tool and I just put my head down on my desk and sobbed for the entire rest of the class. Genuinely traumatic. I salute everyone who is actually capable of being a doctor/nurse/surgeon/etc. You are all much stronger than me.”

Another recounted a personal anecdote, stating, “I remember fainting and falling in the emergency operation theater for three consecutive days during my initial student training duty days.”

Adding to the discussion, someone else admitted, “I do biopsies and procedures all the time and I still cringe and gag a little when the needles are happening lol.”

A voice of reassurance emerged, advising the visibly concerned students in the video, “You learn to handle it in medical school, so please don’t worry if you can handle blood and surgery in high school. You can still be a doctor!”
