The scheduled Taylor Swift and Disney+ production set for Wednesday near the iconic Hollywood sign has been canceled.

Reports suggest that Hollywood residents expressed outrage over the disruption caused by the production. Philip Sokoloski from FilmLA, responsible for city film permits, informed TMZ on Tuesday about the decision to scrap the project.

No specific reason was provided for the sudden change.

Disney+ previously clarified that Taylor Swift, aged 34, would not participate or perform during the shoot.

Neighbors perceived the planned three-day production as a significant eyesore, citing increased foot traffic and disturbance that disrupted their peace and daily lives.

Furthermore, the purpose of the shoot was stated as filming for “Disney + TS.”

Reportedly, Taylor Swift sold the exclusive film rights to her Eras Tour concert film to Disney+ for $75 million.
