Nia Lui’s TikTok video, which went viral on October 13, 2023, featured a caption that read:
“Every expecting mom should have a nesting party. If you’re pregnant and not into baby showers, try this. If you have a pregnant friend, consider doing this for them!”
In the video, Lui showcased her friends cleaning and organizing her home in preparation for her third baby.
“I opted for a nesting party instead of a baby shower, and it was amazing,” she shared in a voiceover.
Lui provided her friend Bree with a list of tasks to be done at home, and Bree organized them on cards, distributing them to each attendee. Lui supervised the tasks, and after the cleaning, everyone gathered for a meal.
