I’ve reached my breaking point.” The iconic rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, now 74, has released a statement that may prove difficult for some of his fans to accept
Ozzy Osbourne, known as ‘The Prince of Darkness,’ has faced numerous health challenges over his lifetime, with the past few years being the most trying.
His health struggles began following a quad-bike accident in 2003, and things took a further downturn in 2019 when he endured a life-threatening fall in his bathroom, causing metal screws in his spine to become dislodged.
Recently, Sharon Osbourne, his wife, shared insights into her husband’s health, revealing that he was on the brink of yet another surgery that could potentially “determine the course of his life.”
In a personal update, Ozzy, now 74, discussed his impending final surgery to repair his damaged neck, characterizing the past few years as an “absolute hell.”
During his appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Ozzy Osbourne was inquired about his well-being.
His reply was as follows: “I’ve just undergone my final procedure two days ago. I can hardly believe I’ve reached this point. The primary ordeal is behind me; I’m finished with surgeries.”
He went on to say: “However, it’s been five years of sheer torment for both me and my family. My family has stood by me steadfastly, and I couldn’t have done it without them. It’s been an exceptionally challenging journey. I do have Parkinson’s, but I don’t dwell on it.”
According to Ozzy’s son, Jack, there is a common misconception that his father’s declining health is primarily linked to his Parkinson’s disease. However, this is not accurate. In reality, his health challenges began following the neck injury and the subsequent fall he experienced in 2019.
“I kept pushing through it until I had that fall, and then everything just unraveled,” Ozzy explained.
He further emphasized his resilience by stating, “I don’t complain; I just keep moving forward. As long as you’re still in motion, you’re still alive.”

“This will be my last surgery, as I’ve reached my limit. Regardless of the outcome tomorrow, I won’t go through it again. I simply can’t.”
Earlier this year, Ozzy had revealed the cancellation of his tours and shared his retirement plans with his fans.
Since his last tour in 2018, the iconic Black Sabbath singer has only made two live appearances.
Our sincerest well wishes for the good health of Ozzy Osbourne.
