Pierce Brosnan never ceases to remind Keely of her significance in his life. The couple insists that the key to their lasting marriage is their unwavering commitment to spending quality time together, no matter how busy their schedules get.
Their love story began in a Mexican bar in 1992 when the actor first laid eyes on Keely. Two years later, they began dating, and after seven years, they tied the knot. In an interview with The Independent, the former James Bond actor opened up about what drew him to Keely in the first place: “I adore her vitality, her passion. Her strength is something I can’t imagine my life without. When Keely looks at me, I feel vulnerable.”
On September 25, Keely celebrated her 60th birthday, and Brosnan’s heartfelt gift left fans in awe of his deep devotion to her.
“Sixty Roses for the Brown-Eyed Beauty on Her 60th Birthday,” he wrote alongside a photo of the couple, standing before a stunning bouquet of roses.
He continued, “I’ve been forever happy and blessed since the day you turned that corner early one morning in Cabo San Lucas, @keelyshayebrosnan.”
On their 22nd wedding anniversary, Keely posted several images from their Irish wedding ceremony on her social media account. “Happy Anniversary, @piercebrosnanofficial. Thank you for always being ready for this incredible adventure called life,” she expressed.
Pierce Brosnan’s initial marriage was to the Australian actress Casandra Harris, who tragically passed away from ovarian cancer in 1991. Sadly, their daughter also succumbed to the same illness. The star of “Mrs. Doubtfire” had one child with Casandra but adopted her children from a previous marriage after their father’s passing. These children took on Brosnan’s surname. He has two sons, Dylan and Paris, with his wife Keely.
