Last month the Russian cosmonauts found life is an unusual spot – on the outside of the International Space Station. Never before has there been such a find in deep space. Scientists are baffled; no one can figure out how this life form ended up clinging to the outer walls of the space station.

The cosmonauts were doing a routine space walk to clean the outside of the space station when they spotted the tiny creatures. Scientists think they are a type of sea plankton, but cannot explain how they manage to live in space. Further tests are being conducted to figure out how these tiny creatures are surviving in such harsh conditions.

Scientists may be puzzled, but they will keep searching until they get a satisfactory answer.
