On a sweltering day when temperatures are reaching record levels in Alaska, even wild animals need to find ways to stay cool
One woman had firsthand experience with this when her mother and her calves wandered around her house and finally in her garden looking hot and exhausted.
That’s when Candice Helm had an idea.
Surprisingly, the moose family went straight to the sprinkler system! The mother and her children were running and splashing and playing in the water.
Not only was this a great way to cool off, but they also seemed to have a lot of fun doing it…!
