The European beaver once lived almost all over Eurasia, and to this day only individual isolated populations have survived.

They are found in France, Germany, Poland, Scandinavia and Russia. Individual populations have evolved into independent subspecies.

In January, a video landed on the YouTube network where we can follow a diligent beaver while working. This one tackled a fallen branch, and judging by the responses, it impressed many animal lovers online.

The branch was bitten by a beaver in just three minutes, and the whole scene was captured up close by the author of the video, who introduces himself on the YouTube network with the username Mike’s Videos of Beavers.

Take a look at the cute video of the beaver, which is already a real success on the YouTube network – it has reached more than a million views to date, and many online users are enthusiastic about what the beaver did.
