We can all agree that Christmas is the best holiday of them all. Every year, the world turns into a magical place with all festive lights and decorations.
For hospitals that’s no easy task as people especially children can’t completely enjoy the holiday. For their parents, it can be a trying experience, which is why moms and dads at one hospital in Texas were given quite the surprise when Santa showed up!
The man with the big beard visited sick kids and spent time with them on the ward, hoping to life their spirits and give them a distraction from their illnesses.
Of course, the children themselves had no way of knowing this particular Santa would go above and beyond.
Mariana Whitley Tumlinson, director at the hospital, wrote in a post on Facebook: “I keep getting choked up with this photo. Today, after Santa visited our patients and was on his way out, he noticed our Chapel.
“I, of course, said yes. I didn’t walk in with him right away but when I did I was so moved by this image I had to capture it.”
That’s right; when Santa had visited the children, he got down on his knees and prayed to Jesus for them, too.

Needless to say, but Mariana’s post was a viral success.
Along with hundreds of heartfelt comments, the picture of praying Santa garnered 19,000 shares to boot!
