Pets are able to fill every single day of our lives with joy and happiness. I personally smile whenever I see a happy face of a dog or a cat cuddling and playing with its owners. The love and happiness humans can feel when they are around their pets is impossibly measurable. That is why we are happy whenever we see an animal in a good home with a loving family.

However, many animals are not enough lucky to find their forever homes and their loving families. Homelessness among animals is a large problem, not just in America, but around the world.

When we came across this story, we felt the urge to share it with you since it has so much inspiration to let other people do the same thing.

While on their vacation in Mexico, The Hall Family of Minnesota encountered a pack of 34 homeless dogs and cats. And what they did to them was enough to melt my heart. They are such amazing people.

Please read the story below and find out what this couple did to rescue these wonderful animals.

Jeff and Diana Hall were on their vacation to La Paz, Mexico. When they stumbled upon a pack of homeless dogs and cats who obviously lacking good nutrition and struggling to survive.

The couple, who are owning the Camp Bow Wow doggy camp in Burnsville, MN made an urgent call to a local animal shelter. However, the shelter was already at full capacity and couldn’t contain the 34 homeless dogs and cats. This didn’t stop The Halls from doing anything.

The Halls posted a message on their GoFundMe page sayin: “”There was no way to bring any of them back with us due to regulations and requirements. We provided food and water for them daily, but felt helpless not being able to do more.”

“We counted 34 in total: 8 puppies about 3-4 weeks old, 5 puppies about 14 weeks old, 14 adult dogs and 7 cats.”

The animals somehow looked so close together while they were struggling. “We couldn’t believe how they all got along! They were well behaved and very friendly.”

hall5

“It took a while for a couple of them to trust us, but in the end they were all happy to eat out of our hands — even the toughest little guy finally came around.”

The animals were given the name of Baja 34 Pack. To help them, the couple created the Baja 34 Rescue project to raise funds to give them a better chance of life.

Through their website GoFundMe, the Halls are now collecting money for the Baja 34 Pack to provide the spaying and neutering for the animals, give them their vaccinations, and transporting them to Minnesota where they will hopefully be adopted by a loving new family.

The total of the money collected will go directly to help the Baja 34 Pack. Happily, some of the animals have already been adopted by loving families, including three puppies that recently arrived in Minnesota last week.

The Halls are still working to place the rest of the animals in loving homes. They write, “Each and every one of these dogs and cats are well behaved and would make wonderful family pets. Although they are starving for food, it was apparent they are also starving for love.”
