Justyna Sosnowska is a young Polish woman taking the world of cosplay and special effects makeup by storm. Her work has been utterly blowing up the Internet and it’s NOT hard to see why. Her ability to transform herself into iconic characters is practically unparalleled and some of the ones the most fun to look at are her Disney character creations. From Frozen’s Elsa to The Lion King’s Scar and everything in between, no character appears to be too complex for this stunning artist, known mostly as “Sosenka.”
Sosenka may consider herself an amateur artist but as far as we can tell, she’s the real deal.
Sosenka has a Landscape Architecture degree and her interest in SFX makeup started only in 2014, as a hobby. It quickly evolved into something much bigger, though. “I fell in love with what I do,” Sosenka writes. She also thinks she has learned a lot of things along the way: “From various technical methods of mapping the images of the characters to strengthening certain personality traits such as patience, precision, succession in pursuit of the goal.” This eventually led her to trying cosplay, and in this area the Pole realized her true potential.
