Alexander Yakovlev, a Russian Studio-dance photographer is specializing in taking pictures of dancers in their powerful positions. In his series of splendid images, the talented photographer introduces the element of flour, giving his models the chance to interact with it, capturing the spectacular formed by this combination.

The Moscow resident is a graduate from the faculty of law at the Russian State University For the Humanities, but it’s clear from his work here that rhetoric isn’t his only specialty. Yakovlev’s photos span a wide spectrum of dance styles, from ballet to break-dancing, but it was his flour-filled photo “Big bang theory” that has garnered the most recent attention.
