His name is Mariusz Kedzierski, a 23-year-old Polish artist. Mostly, he makes realistic or hyperrealistic drawings. Most of them are portraits. But he is not like any other artist, besides his incredible drawings skills, Mariusz was born without arms.
He didn’t consider his disability as an obstacle to fulfill his dreams. “For me disability doesn’t mean that I can’t live my own, great life. It doesn’t mean that I have to forget my dreams. Art has been my way of life for 7 years. Since that time I have drawn over 700 drawings that took me 15,000 hours. ” says Kedzierski. Meanwhile, he got 2nd prize “Best Global Artist” in Vienna in 2013. He also participated in exhibitions in Cracow, Vienna, Oxford, Wroclaw and more.
He traveled across Europe, worked on the streets of Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Paris, Barcelona, Marseille, Venice, Rome, and Athens. He called this project ‘Mariusz Draws’so he can inspire people, show them that all the limits are in our heads.
Polish-born Mariusz says, “For me my disability doesn’t mean that I can’t live my own great life.”
