We see it all the time where a dog will take in a kitten as its own offspring, or a cat takes in a puppy to nurse and call her own. This ability to show love regardless of specie is one of the things that makes animals so special. But in the video below, we have an even crazier scenario.
Shadow, a white German Shepherd, is playing mama to a newborn pygmy goat! The baby took to the dog, and Shadow’s maternal instinct kicked in. Her owners say she takes care of the little goat as if it were one of her own puppies. Watch as the German Shepherd wags her tail and smiles as the baby goat cuddles up beside her! 🙂
