Yulia Taits is a creative photographer and graphic designer from Israel, who has thinking for a quite some time to make come true her project featuring Albino people or people with Albinism.
For those who don’t know, Albinism is an inherited condition present at birth, characterized by a lack of pigment that normally gives color to the skin, hair, and eyes. Many types of albinism exist, all of which involve lack of pigment in varying degrees. There are 10 types of the most common form of the condition, known as “oculocutaneous albinism,” which affects the eyes, hair, and skin. In its most severe form, hair and skin remain pure white throughout life.
The unique beauty of these people has so long captured the attention of Taits, “For some time I’ve had the idea to create and photograph a project featuring albino people or people with Albinism. Their unique beauty hypnotizes me. This beauty is so pure and amazing for me, as if it was taken from fantasies and fairy tale legends.” told Bored Panda. “Their unique beauty hypnotizes me. She is able to create worlds of fantasy through her work as a photoshop artist. However, this particular experience was so enjoyable for her for one special reason, she didn’t need to do any photoshop on her pictures. The pure and natural beauty of Albinos was enough to make their portraits so beautiful.
All of the photographs were taken in white tones with no additional coloring, which proves that white is not just one color! It has many tints, shades and beautiful tones.
“While creating this photo project, I was fortunately blessed with meeting amazing people. I was highly motivated from the support of the models and parents to create this project. Their passion and encouragement attributes to this amazing project. I am very proud of the results this experience has brought.” told Bored Panda
