At their first meeting, Angelo, who is a photographer, knew that Jennifer was the one. They fell in love and got married at New Your’s Central Park. Jen was diagnosed with breast cancer, just 5 months after her marriage. From Angelo’s blog: “I remember the exact moment…Jen’s voice and the numb feeling that enveloped me. That feeling has never left. I’ll also never forget how we looked into each other’s eyes and held each other’s hands. ‘We are together, we’ll be ok.’”
Angelo decided to to take this battle with his wife, he came with the idea to take pictures throughout this battle, and the following are the photos of Gen with her husband fighting Cancer. The photos speak for themselves.
The ending of the story is tragic, however, it is in tragic moments like this that we can rise above. Angelo has started an organisation to help patients with cancer with their financial struggle during their trials.
