It is often to see how love is portrayed in movies, books and media. It can be sometimes extravagant and other times can be unrealistic. People are now believing that the ‘Perfect Love’ should actually look like this, an imaginary fairytale. It is not that those moments could not actually happen, but people are quick to judge their own relationships comparing them with what they see in the movies or what they read in the books. And this is where it becomes an issue.
“Puuung”,a Korean artist, has fortunately aimed to change this and we are glad she did!
She created some stunning beautifully-drawn illustrations to remind us that when it comes to love and what it makes it full and rich are those little gestures, she said: “Love is something that everybody can relate to. And Love comes in ways that we can easily overlook in our daily lives. So, I try to find the meaning of love in our daily lives and make it into artwork,”
And this what we can only think about when looking at these : “There are a million different ways to say ‘i love you’. “Put your seatbelt on’. ‘Get some rest’. ‘watch your step’. You just have to listen.”
Please enjoy these lovely illustrations and let us know which image best captures what love is to you.
