Being able to give birth to some cute kids is absolutely a great blessing, but for a teenager like Pamela from Argentina, carrying just 3 pregnancies in the space of less than 5 years and ending up with 7 kids in her brood isn’t something to joke about. She’s just 17!

Having got her fist kid at 14, fate played a bad number on this young lady for the next 3 years. She ended up getting pregnant 2 more times, each time bringing forth triplets! Now she has 7 children, and she needs help!

Pamela has not had luck with men. The father of her first son abandoned them. The father of the first set of triplets was sent away because he was violent and continuously beat Pamela. The father of the third triplets is a mystery. Pamela refuses to admit who it is, if she even knows.

Her mom, Magdalena, wants her to have an operation so she doesn’t get any more kids, but the government isn’t willing to clear her for the operation, citing a law barring minors from accessing contraceptives. The mother also wants the public to help her fund the operation. This case is creating a lot of friction.

What do you think of it? Should teens have access to contraceptives, given that it could help curb the spread of HIV and unwanted pregnancies?

In the video below, you’ll get to see pictures of the young family.
