This happens to be the saddest story ever. A puppy had been drowned in glue by the kids somewhere in Istanbul, Turkey. To them, they were just having fun. The poor dog now like a statue, was taken to a shelter.
After they had drowned the puppy in glue, they went ahead to drag him on the mud, followed by leaving him there alone with no help. The puppy tried to get rid of the glue by rubbing himself on the ground, but little did he know he was worsening things.
When the glue dried up, it resembled cement. This prevented blood from reaching some parts of his body. People who found him rescued him by bringing him to the shelter, and the international rescue group He’Art of Rescue volunteered to assist him.
Posting on their Facebook page, the rescue group said that the dog was like a statue made up of glue and mud, which was observant of things surrounding him. For instance, the statue was terrified of what was to happen to him. Ashamed, he went to a corner at the hospital room where he hid from people. He could be noted that he had a shattered spirit from the way he looked.
“Our heart is broken but we will not let Pascal go through this alone,” the group said on Facebook. We will do everything until he is completely recovered.”
The vets peeled off the glue layers from his fur. The glue had tampered with the blood flow, thus causing one of his ears to be necrotic. Currently his condition is improving though he is still in pain.
Later, they are supposed to carryout blood tests on him so as to know if he suffers from any other condition e got while at the streets.
“Although Pascal has been cleaned from the horrible chemical, the incident left a huge scar in his soul,” He’Art Rescue said. “It is in his eyes, in his posture, in his lack of trust for people… He is being flooded in LOVE – love that can heal everything.”
