Most people think that technology is only for this generation’s kids, but Kimiko Nishimoto disagrees with this. At 89, this Japanese grandma is becoming a pro in snapping and even editing her own pictures and she’s been doing this for the last 17 years. You still can’t believe it? Take a look at the pictures below!

She didn’t know pretty much nothing about photography until she reached the age of 72 years old. Her son was giving lessons to beginners and she decided to join in, with no idea she’s about to bring out the gift she never even knew she had. Her love for photography was growing fonder and she couldn’t stop taking snaps since then. Her quirky and comical self-portraits gained a lot of attention and ten years later, she was able to hold her first solo exhibition at a local museum in her native town of Kumamoto. and now she’s already going other places, her next work titled “Asobokane” – meaning “let’s play” – will be  exhibited at Tokyo’s Epson epsite imaging gallery.  so if you happen to visit Tokyo between December 15, 2017 and January 18, 2018 we recommend you to check her work out.  another proof that anyone can try something new no matter the age is.
