The name is originally was derived from the Mexican Spanish word mestengo, which the meaning is “ownerless beast” or “stray horse” . Mustangs are usually referred to as wild horses.
For 2015, mustangs are still under protection of The United States law, but have disappeared from numerous states where they once established populations.
The wild mustang photographer Kelly Jay, moved to Dugway, Utah from Indianapolis, Indiana in 2005 . She instantly fell in love with these majestic animals. She started capturing her incredibly beautiful encounters with the Onaqui Herd in the West Desert of Utah.
