Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean are English ice dancers and former British, European, World and Olympic champions.
In 1984, at the Los Angeles Olympics, they put on one of the most beautiful performances in the entire history of ice dancing at the Olympics.

Ice dancing is a discipline of figure skating that first became a sport with medals at the Winter Olympics back in 1976. Eight years later, English athletes Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean provided an outstanding performance at the Los Angeles Olympics.

There they presented their dance choreography with the orchestral composition ‘Bolero’, under which the French composer Joseph-Maurice Ravel signed in 1928. The dancing pair won an Olympic gold medal with their performance.

The performance of the duo Torvill – Dean is still considered one of the best today, and with their exceptional dance they will undoubtedly impress you as well. See how the English ice dancers shone in 1984 at the Olympics.
