It is often to see how love is portrayed in movies, books and media. It can be sometimes extravagant and other times can be unrealistic. People are now believing that the ‘Perfect Love’ should actually look like this, an imaginary fairytale. It is not that those moments could not actually happen, but people are quick to judge their own relationships comparing them with what they see in the movies or what they read in the books. And this is where it becomes an issue.
Hyocheon Jeong, an illustrator from South Korea, captures the hearts of Instagram users across the globe with her illustrations of intimate moments that couples in love share with each other every day.
“The sources of my inspiration are always stories of people. Most of them are the stories of me and my boyfriend. I also get my ideas from the conversation with my friends.” – the artist told Bored Panda.
The talented illustrator draws cozy, intimate moments of couples’ lives – from walks in the park, to dinners and naps. Most of the time, she draws only two people in her illustrations, but from time to time, she adds a cat as an adorable companion of the lovers.
