Harley the Goldendoodle is being hailed a hero! When the dog spotted a helpless fawn struggling to stay afloat in the middle of the lake, he didn’t hesitate to head out for rescue. His owners, Ralph and Patricia, couldn’t believe what they were witnessing.
Harley was able to nudge and slowly guide the days-old fawn back to shore where they apparently struck up a bond. The next morning, it was heard calling out for the dog, and the two were seen hanging out together!
“He just has this good heart in him, that he naturally does the right thing,” Dad said.
