Police responded to reports of a loose dog in Howell, NJ, but found something much worse. The single family home with 276 dogs was the worst hoarding case they’d ever seen.

Authorities worked to rescue dogs from the extreme hoarding situation over the course of a 12-hour day.

It’d be weeks before the dogs would be ready to go on to forever homes, but they were already so happy and couldn’t wait to get started on their new lives. 🙂

The tip led to the rescue and saving of so many neglected dogs who deserved so much better. A big thank you to everyone who played a part in this!
