The glass octopus is a cumbersome octopus from the genus Vitreledonella and from the family Amphitretidae, which has a very special characteristic.
Its body is transparent, and with its image the glass octopus always inspires many lovers of marine life.

One such octopus was filmed in recent weeks at the submerged coral Winslow Reef near the Republic of Kiribati, located in the central tropical Pacific Ocean.

The glass octopus can grow up to 45 centimeters (18 inches) in length together with its tentacles, but they are hardly found in the sea, as they are very rare and belong to the group of endangered animals. A team of scientists found such an octopus these days and posted a wonderful video of this unusual animal online.
