Simon Laprise wanted to pull a joke on the snow removal guys, so he built a full-sized car replica out of snow, but his amazing silly work grabbed the attention of local police officers instead. What it started as an innocent joke for the 33-year-old Canadian woodworker from Montreal, ended up with a ticket for the ‘illegally parked’ vehicle.
“I did the car to have fun expressing my creativity on that beautiful day,” Laprise told Buzzfeed. It was a full-sized replica of a DeLorean DMC-12 (the Back to the Future car), although some say it looks more like a third generation Toyota Supra. In parts of Canada, however, it is prohibited to park in snow removal zone when plowing is scheduled. And that was probably the reason why the cops pulled over.
After inspection, they did found out what the true identity of the car. Anyway, the police left a fake ticket as well with “You made our night!!!” written on it.
