There has been a competition of the funniest wild picture of the year, and the winner is finally announced.
The main goal of these awards is to raise and spread awareness about wildlife conservation since 2015. Thankfully, it’s getting more popular year after year. “It’s been a real success this year, the quality of images has improved substantially and we have had more entries and from more countries,” said one of the founders of the competition, photographer Paul Joynson-Hicks.
We can assure that you won’t stop giggling looking at these pictures, I mean, who wouldn’t laugh at clumsy eagles or foolish hamsters but we shouldn’t forget about the mission behind this. The organizers invite everyone to check out the born free website and spread the word about wildlife conservation together with the amusing bunch of pictures. It’s all about spreading an important message in a fun way. Interesting, isn’t? So please don’t hesitate to show your love and interest for the wildlife.
