This series of 38 pictures of babies and their toy doppelgangers is just too sweet to handle.. Of course, these babies don’t have to try hard since baby dolls were made to look like them. They look like twins!
Most modern dolls and made of soft vinyl, which makes them cheap and durable. This is a far cry from earlier dolls which included porcelain in their make up. In the 19th century, china and Bisque dolls were popular. Both have porcelain heads, but Bisque isn’t glazed, and has a matte finish that gives it the appearance of natural skin. The bodies were made from leather, cloth or even wood.
