Black Dad Takes Biracial Daughter To Get Braids – Shares Texts of Racist Mom’s Reaction That Has Everyone in Disbelief

This is about a father’s loving gesture that has quickly gone viral after the mother’s furious reaction.

Black dad Nick Harris posted screenshots of his conversation with his baby’s mother, who happens to be white.

Apparently, the mother didn’t like the fact that the father took their little daughter to get her hair cornrowed – which is something a lot of black and mixed race kids do on a regular basis.

The conversation took a racist point from the mother, who was identified only as “Babymom”, as she started using racist language in her texts.

She insisted that she didn’t like her daughter to have an “ugly black hairstyle.”

As we can see on the screenshots, the words the mother uses to express her anger are horrible and reflect a very racist mindset. Their daughter is in fact biracial but it seems that her mom doesn’t really considerate her like this or she doesn’t want to..

Despite her hurtful words and the verbal abuse she throws on him, the father, Nick, seems to remain completely calm and reasonable.

“She looks black and she’s not!” writes the mother.

Nick made the simple, solid point that his daughter is biracial and her mother should be able to love all of her.

“It’s crazy that you can’t accept the ‘black’ half of our child,” he wrote.

“She’s not more white or more black. She’s mixed, a beautiful mixed baby whose hair looks great in many different styles.”

Still, the conversation continues with the mother assuming that the hairdresser probably “hurt her baby”.

She goes to threaten Harris to slap him, and call him a “f**kin idiot,” and she would prefer her daughter’s hair in a “French braid.”

“It truly amazes me that you hate half your daughter,” writes Nick.

Me too. Wow. I hope that now this post has gone viral this racist mom can be shamed into seeking educating herself – if not for her sake but for her young daughter.
