Letting all the negativity in the world impact your life can bring you down. A good reason why you should not let the belittling thoughts get inside your head. It is time to stop cursing and crying and start changing your beliefs on your level of importance in life. Although, it isn’t easy to remain positive when negativity surrounds, taking full control of what you choose to believe is all you need. It is advisable to write you positive beliefs down in you journal or just simply record them down somewhere. This is to remind you, how awesome you are, even when your conscience is leading you to the negative path.
Below are the beliefs that helped me regain my positive side and freed me from the grips of negativity:
• Don’t take other people’s negativity personally
What other people say or think about you is their problem, not yours. Negative people act negatively to almost everyone they interact with, thus you are not alone. What they say and do is simply a reflection of their own life; therefore, it has nothing to do with you.
• You are free to be you
You can only find happiness if you stop comparing yourself to everyone else. Be true to yourself and everything good will fall in place.
• Stop working so hard to create a perfect life
Creating a perfect life is impossible; your goal should be to live each day with a smile and contentment. Always remember that every day is a gift, hence shouldn’t be treated casually.
• Having bad days is normal
Life cannot always be wonderful; consequently bad things come and go. Accepting that negative things are part of life will not only help you let go the frown but also help you be at peace with reality.
• Every experience is just another important lesson
Failure shouldn’t prevent you from trying again. Even when you are struggling, you still have so much to be grateful for. Don’t be so hard on yourself; always find time to appreciate yourself. Remember, you must hurt in order to grow, and fail in order to know.
• Positive growth and healing requires change
Change can be terrifying; however you have to find the good in goodbye. The past is a place of reference, not a place of residence. Believing in yourself is all that matters, it will guide you towards what you are looking for. Respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer grows you.
• Your happiness is simply the result of your thinking
Regardless of the situation you are facing, your attitude is your choice. Happiness doesn’t start with your job or your relationships; happiness starts with you. Remember, you can’t have a positive life with a negative attitude. Always surround yourself with people who see potential and great things in you, even when you don’t see it in yourself.

Do your best to impact someone’s life positively. That way you will become the answer to someone’s prayer, additionally you will find answers to you prayer.

Start seeing the value of your efforts by enjoying the challenge of your achievements. Patient is being able to keep a positive attitude while working hard on your dreams. Knowing that you did your best in what really matters.
