1- Being Other People’s Doormat
You can be nice to someone without letting them walk all over you. When you are someone’s doormat, you are surrendering your control over your emotions and behavior. They disregard your feelings and have no respect for you as a person. Toleration should never be a factor when dealing with this critical thing. You have to speak up for yourself and tell them that you will not stand up for this type of behavior. If you do not stand up for yourself and be assertive, no one will. You deserve to be treated as a person, as an equal. Mindfulness comes from treating yourself well and not allowing others to treat you poorly.
2- Refusing Happiness
Happiness is subjective. You can choose to be happy. You do not have to surround yourself with turmoil. Make changes until you find your happiness.

Never tolerate laziness from yourself.Nothing is going to be handed to you. You have to work for the important things in life. A proactive attitude is one of those critical things you need in order to get the most out of life.
4- Valuing Money Too Much
Money is not an important factor when someone is seeking mindfulness. However, it is one of those critical things you cannot do without having. The goal is to not let the need for money or material goods rule your life. When you are born, you come into the world with nothing but your birthday suit. People should give you the courtesy to let you make your own decisions without you explaining them. No explanations needed. You do not need their validation or approval.
6- Neglecting Your Health
One critical thing that should not include toleration is your health. You have to be diligent when it comes to making healthy choices. If you do not, the negativity in your life will be cancer or some other disease. Make sure you are eating well, getting plenty of sleep and rest, and exercising and reducing stress.

Friends can be a great source of negativity. They can make you feel like your hopes and dreams are a fantasy or that you are not good enough to accomplish them.
